The country was subjected to high winds caused by storm Barney yesterday evening and one group of children coming home from theur primary school in County Wexford had a lucky escape after a tree fell on their bus.
It is understood Gardai and emergency services attended the scene after a large tree fell on bus and car close to the N11 network just outside Enniscorthy at approximately 4.30pm yesterday evening.
Meanwhile Gardaí have said thankfully no one was injured in the incident.
