There was some sad news in the entertainment world this evening as Guitarist Eddie Van Halen sadly passed away aged 65.
Eddie Van Halen who was one of the founding members of the iconic rock group Van Halen, sadly passed away following a battle with throat cancer.
The news of Eddie’s death was confirmed by his son Wolf, who wrote the following message on Twitter:
“I can’t believe I’m having to write this, but my father has lost his long and arduous battle with cancer this morning.”
“He was the best father I could ever ask for. Every moment I’ve shared with him on and off stage has been like a gift.
“My heart is broken and I don’t think I’ll ever fully recover from this loss.”
