One person has died and at least three others wounded during an early morning shooting in the Northern Arizona University in the United States.
The condition of the injured parties is not yet known.
While it is unclear what sparked the shooting, it is believed it began in a dormitory that houses most of the campus’ students involved in Greek organisations.
A statement on the University’s Twitter account advised all students in the area to stay indoors.
School public relations director Cindy Brown told reporters that the suspected shooter is in custody and that the campus is not on lockdown.
Ms Brown added that the first police call about the shooting came in at around 1.20 this morning.
It is not yet clear what involvement the suspected shooter had with the University.
More than 25,000 students are enrolled at the Flagstaff campus.
