A woman in China has celebrated the dog’s birthday in a very unique way – by organising a spectacular drone light show.
According to UPI news, a video has been released of the event which took place in Changsha, Hunan Province to mark the dog’s 10th birthday. In the video, a crowd can be seen singing Happy Birthday to the dog.
Hundreds of drones then take to the sky, arranging themselves over the Xiangjiang River to form shapes the included the dog’s likeness, a birthday cake and the words “happy birthday to Doudou” in Chinese.
Local authorities are said to have commented that they didn’t know about the event, which would normally have required special permits while drone experts have estimated that the show would have cost approximately $15,700.
