Happy “daze” – Met Eireann forecasts heatwave will continue into next weekend




Met Éireann expects the current heat wave to last until next weekend.

Bank Holiday Monday was dry and sunny, although scattered clouds will continue to build in the afternoon and evening, mainly in the northwest, with the possibility of an isolated shower or two, reports Breaking News.

Highest temperatures of 20 to 25 degrees, warmest in the west and slightly cooler on the northern and eastern edges, with light to moderate easterly breezes.

Tuesday will also be a generally dry and sunny day.

Clouds will increase again in the afternoon and evening, mainly in the west, with a chance of one or two scattered showers.
