The coronavirus outbreak in Ireland is finally beginning to get under control by the looks of things.
The Minister for Health Simon Harris has revealed that the number of people in ICU with Covid-19 has fallen to 42.
In a tweet issued today, Minister Harris also revealed that are now 171 Covid-19 cases in Irish hospitals.
In the tweet Harris said: “Another drop in the number of patients in Irish hospitals with Covid-19.
“Confirmed cases in hospital is now 171. Down 22 on yesterday. Stay safe everyone, practice social distancing, cough etiquette & hand washing.
“We wish all those sick well & we think of them & their families.”
