Health and government officials are to meet with representatives of nurses and midwives today, in an effort to avert upcoming strikes scheduled for a week away.
The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) is asking for a 12% pay increase, but the Government said that ‘they cannot afford it.”
