Police in Scotland have launched an investigation after a 10-year-old boy died and an 8-year-girl suffered life-threatening injuries in an incident in Perth and Kinross.
According to Sky News, the two children were found at a house on Union Street, Coupar Angus, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
It is understood the young boy was tragically found dead at the scene, whilst the girl was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police investigating the incident say a man was injured in the incident, whilst another man was arrested at the scene.
It is not yet known what occurred at the premises, but officers say they are treating the case as an isolated incident.
