Police in the UK have sadly confirmed that a child has died following a fire at a block of flats in South London.
According to Sky News, a woman and two children were rescued from the fore which broke at the block in Greenwich, at approximately 5:45am this morning.
However sadly police later confirmed that one of the children later died in hospital.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
