A three-year-old girl has sadly died after she was run over by her father’s car in Texas.
According to Click2Houston, the little girl sadly lost her life after her four-year-old brother accidentally reversed the car over her.
It is believed the young boy ran over his sister in Sugar Land, Texas, on Tuesday, afrer he knocked the running S-Class into reverse gear whilst his sister was standing behind it.
The two infants were apparently left in the car by their father who briefly exited the vehicle in order to retrieve something from the garage at their home.
Police investigating the incident say the children’s father decided to leave the engine on in order to keep the air conditioning on for his children inside.
However tragically, it is thought that the little girl exited the vehicle just before her brother jumped into the front seat.
Despite the best efforts paramedics, the little girl was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers say they are treating the girl’s death as a freak accident.
