The grandmother of 17-yr-old Jodie Chesney was the victim of a callous and unprovoked attack.
The heartbroken grandmother said that her granddaughter was attacked for no reason whatsoever and that she was sadly just in the wrong place at the wrong time when she was fatally stabbed to death in Harold Hill, east London on Friday.
Jodie’s grandmother Debbie Chesney wrote on Facebook: “How have we come so far the place youngsters can’t have a stroll in a park with out suffering an unprovoked assault?
“If anybody is aware of anything about this please contact the police with info. We don’t need anyone else to undergo what our family is struggling right now. This has to cease, there are too many young individuals having their lives reduce brief by unnecessary violence.”
Police have opened an investigation into the young girl’s murder.
