With less than one month to go until Brexit happens, the European Union’s top dog has said that the EU is prepared to give Britain more guarantees that will ensure a good deal for both the UK and the EU, chief Negotiator Michel Barnier has said.
Barnier also suggested that European leaders would possibly entertain a so-called technical delay in Britain’s departure from the European Union which is due to happen on March 29th. This would give the British government more time to formally ratify an exit deal that would suit both sides.
One thing for certain is that all sides, including Ireland, are insisting that no physical hard border is imposed on entering the North from Southern Ireland.
