Heartbreaking: Surviving Victims of the Grenfell Tower block fire place messages of love and flowers to those they’ve lost on father’s day

This past Sunday was father’s day and for many families out there the day was celebrated with messages of love along with spending time together, but for the surviving victims of the Grenfell Tower block fire yesterday was a heartbreaking reminder of what they have lost.

With many celebrating the annual tradition across Ireland and the UK, those who survived the blaze that ripped through the 27 storey building on Tuesday night were left in tears as the search for the missing residents continues.

In a day that should have seen those living in the apartment block celebrating with the rest of the nation it was a day of reflection and mourning as surviving family members placed messages of love which paid tribute to many father’s who have sadly gone missing and feared dead.

There were many heartbreaking tributes placed amongst the flowers, candles and messages placed near Latymer Community Church on Sunday afternoon, with many stating that they will always be remembered and that they will never be forgotten.

The messages of tribute to many loving father’s comes less than a week after the fire claimed the lives of 30 people, although that number is expected to rise with 58 people still reported missing.
