There was some heartbreaking news announced late last night as Gardai in Co Kildare sadly confirmed that a 3-year-old girl has died following a serious road traffic incident in Thursday.
Gardai say the toddler sadly passed away in Temple Street Children’s Hospital on Sunday evening.
It is believed the girl was being treated for serious injuries at the hospital after she was transferred there from Naas General Hospital on Thursday.
The girl was transferred to the hospital following an accident at 8.05am on Thursday morning.
Gardai say the girl suffered a number of injuries after two cars were involved in a collision on the Brannockstown to Kilcullen Road.
They also say the driver of the car and the girls father, currently remain in Tallaght Hospital.
An investigation into the collision is currently ongoing.
