Gardaí in Co Wicklow have sadly confirmed that a 2 year old boy has died after he was struck by a car near Bray on Tuesday afternoon.
It is believed the young infant was killed after he was struck by the car at Silverbridge at approximately 4:30pm on Tuesday afternoon.
Although the boy was quickly rushed to Crumlin Children’s Hospital, he was sadly pronounced dead a short time later.
Gardaí say the driver of the vehicle was uninjured in the incident, they also say investigations are currently ongoing.
