
A 90-yr-old biker died at Maigh Cuilinn, County Galway, after being involved in an accident with a lorry and his bicycle, reports RTE.
The incident occurred just after lunchtime on the N59 near Clydagh.
The man was taken by ambulance to University Hospital Galway, but he was pronounced dead shortly after, reports RTE.
The road remains closed as Garda Forensic Collision Investigators conduct a technical assessment, and diversions are in place.
Gardaà are asking any witnesses to the crash to come forward.
