In what can only be described as a truly heartbreaking story, Zoe Holohan was interviewed on Friday night’s Late Late Show about a fire on her honeymoon that claimed the life of her new husband, Brian.
Brian and Zoe were on honeymoon in Greece when a fire engulfed their villa and the surrounding areas in the middle of the night.
The pair ran from their villa to their car, with Zoe getting caught up in the fire along the way. Meeting other people and small children, they all crammed into a small car to try and evade the area.
Tragically, the car crashed with Zoe and Brian in the boot. Brian fell from the boot and disappeared into flames which tragically killed him.
Zoe has had a long but successful road of recovery and was able to eloquently convey her horrendous story to host Ryan Tubridy along with a book which she has written called ‘As the smoke clears’.
