This sickening incident took place during the National Ploughing Championships earlier today. A heartless thief robbed two lockers of equipment, worth almost €800, from the “Bumbleance”, a custom-made ambulance vehicle designed to carry critically ill children.
A number of oxygen saturation probes were taken, along with devices used for measuring pulse.
The incident has been reported to Gardai, who have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
