The Sound of Music star Heather Menzies-Urich has passed away aged 68.
Menzies was best known for her role as Louisa von Trapp in the hit 1965 movie The Sound of Music.
She would go on to have a career in TV, starring in shows as Logan’s Run, The Love Boat, and Spenser: For Hire, where she met her husband Robert Urich, who died in 2002.
Menzies was diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer four weeks ago, and died peacefully today.
