A truck has crashed against the railway barriers at a south Dublin level crossing this morning, causing lengthy delays in DART services.
The vehicle collided against the barriers between Lansdowne Road and Sydney Parade stations.
It is understood the driver failed to stop as the barrier began to descend. He accelerated in an effort to make it through to the other side, but crashed against the moving barriers.
Both north and south-bound services are affected.
