Helpless Jack Russell, Busker, has been beat to death with what gardai believed tho have been a hammer.
Violet McElreavey, a pensioner from Co Derry, was devasteded by the death of her pet. Violet left the house to go to church when the attack happened.
Busker was only 5-years-old when the incident occurred.
The attack happened on the 12th of October but information was released in deatil yesterday.
Gardai are appealing for anyone who may have information in relation to the horrendous attack. It is still unclear as to why Busker was a target.
