A woman in Cork is said to be extremely shaken but thankful for being alive after she fell into the river shortly after midday.
It’s not known the precise details of the incident, but it’s believed the inclement weather played a part in her fall.
According to the Irish Mirror,a spokesman for Cork city fire brigade said: “Earlier we removed one person from the river.”
“The fire service along with the National Ambulance Service and the gardai were on the scene.”
“Due to the weather she was very cold and a bit shook up afterwards but no serious injuries.”
