Neighbours of a woman and her 2 children trapped in a house fire in Shankhill, South Dublin last night are being hailed as heroes.
The fire which broke out in the early hours was engulfing the house fast. The father of the household wasn’t at home at the time.
Quick thinking neighbours actually scaled tall walls and climbed into the garden. They then broke windows and doors to gain access.
Brave: Risking their own safety and lives, they entered the house and managed to rescue the mother and her children.
The husband of the woman and the fire brigade have called the neighbours heroes. Without their actions, this story would be completely different.
