“He’s a thug, remember the head butt incident” – Dublin’s Philly McMahon accused of turning his back on his own community over migrant protests #IrelandisFull

It would appear any shine for Philly McMahon for playing GAA for Dublin has well and truly lost its glow.

The Ballymun player, whom given his age, sees his career imminently facing retirement, has been widely condemned from a height in his own community of Ballymun.

The good, decent concerned citizens of Ballymun have rightfully been protesting against a large contingent, of what appears to be mostly men, planted in their area over the last number of weeks.

Footage on social media showed gang loads of young, fit, strong Middle Eastern looking men hanging been loaded into vacant buildings in the area over a number of different days and locations.

McMahon took to social media condemning such protests around Dublin and welcoming with open arms these migrants, many of whom said to be loitering around the area during the day and night.

Genuinely decent locals who’ve been out protesting say that they have grave concerns these migrants weren’t vetted and that they could serious criminal backgrounds that no one is aware of.

Locals are saying McMahon is out of touch and is disgraceful to condemn the very people who’ve helped him get so far in the GAA world.

McMahon himself has been pushed the refugees welcome brigade’s mantra for some time now with major backlash from decent local people.

One social media user have said McMahon should be utterly ashamed to “align himself with the left wing millionaire socialist Paul Murphy”.

Another said:
“He can stick his refugee welcome nonsense, instead of insults, he should be out on the streets with the rest of us.”

While another said:
“Who cares what Philly McMahon thinks, he’s nothing short of a thug, remember the head butt incident, that’s all you need to know about him and his ilk”.
