King Charles of Britain has begun his cancer treatment after receiving a diagnosis, reports Independent.
The illness, which is not prostate cancer, was identified while the King was receiving medical attention for an enlarged prostate, according to Buckingham Palace.
The King of Britain has begun a regimen of routine medical appointments but has been counselled to delay his public engagements, reports Independent.
The cancer kind was not confirmed by the Palace.
President Michael D Higgins said he is “very sorry and concerned to hear today’s statement regarding King Charles’ medical diagnosis”.
“The President has sent his best wishes on behalf of the people of Ireland to the King for his treatment and full recovery, as well as to Queen Camilla and his family,” said a statement from Áras an Uachtaráin, reports Independent.
