A hiker has reportedly been killed after being struck by lightning in the Scottish Highlands.
It is understood that the victim, a 55-year-old woman, was out walking with a group of seven people in the Na Gruagaichean mountain near Glencoe at the time of the incident.
She was airlifted to hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later. A second hiker was also hit, but sustained no severe injuries.
