A hit-and-run incident in Longford has left a man in his 20s fighting for his life in hospital.
The incident happened on Main Street, Edgeworthstown, Co Longford at around 2.30am on Sunday.
The vehicle involved, a silver Ford Transit, failed to remain at the scene.
Gardai are asking for any witnesses to contact Granard Garda Station on 043 668 7660.
