It’s going to be a windy Sunday, and the west of the country is expected to get the worst of it.
Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow wind warning affecting eight counties. The warning will be in effect from 11am until midnight on Sunday.
The counties affected are Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, Kerry and Limerick. Winds of 50 to 65km/h with gusts of up to 100km/h are likely.
