Hollywood legend Tom Hanks will be in Dublin next month and the actor and author will be the star attraction at the Deelginse Book Festival, reports RTE.
The two-time Academy Award winner will be speaking at the event on Bloomsday, June 16 to talk about his debut novel, The Making of Another Major Motion Picture Masterpiece.
He will also talk about his further journey from picture to page.
Organizers say ticket holders in attendance will receive a copy of Hanks’ novel.

Now in its 14th year, the festival, featuring some of the world’s brightest writers and thinkers, runs from 15-18 June.
