Ireland’s Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan may well be loved by some, hated by some and frightened by some – but either way, it would appear as though he’s pulling the strings and the government is obeying his every demand.
Holohan said that people should open windows and avoid poorly ventilated indoor spaces. Along with that, he said that people should continue to keep their distance, continually wash their hands and ensure that they avoid crowds while reducing their contacts immediately.
It’s understood that further meetings between NPHET and the government are due to take place over the coming days.
