Holohan said to be “very concerned” with today’s 1025 new cases and 2 further Covid-19 related deaths




 

It’s understood that Tony Holohan is said to be very concerned over today’s covid numbers.

It’s understood that NPHET is now considering where or not non essential retail can remain open.

The Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan isn’t happy with the latest case numbers as it’s been confirmed that the UK’s new strain of covid is now in Ireland.

The Department of Health have confirmed 1025 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours.

In an announcement the Department also confirmed 2 further deaths.

The news comes after the Taoiseach Micheal Martin confirmed that there is a 10% daily growth rate.
