Horrific: 10-month-old baby left on roadside in Dublin after car stolen by brazen thief

A 9-year-old child and a 10-month-old baby were inside a car that was stolen by thieves in Dublin.

According to Nova.ie, the horrific incident took place in Cabra when a thief saw an opportunity to steal the car when a couple went back into their house briefly, leaving the engine running.

Before the car sped off, the 9-year-old was able to jump out of the car but the 10-month-old baby was taken with the car.  Thankfully, the baby was found on the roadside not long after the car had been stolen and is thought not to have been injured.

While no arrests have been made, the Gardai are investigating while there have been calls from people in the locality who say they need more policing of the streets.
