Czech authorities have arrested 6 African migrants of Algerian origin in connection with the alleged gang-rape of an Irish woman in Prague.
The incident reportedly took place at a hostel in the Czech capital on Easter Monday.
It is alleged that the woman met one of the men at a bar, before travelling back to where he was staying, at which point five other men entered the room and allegedly sexually assaulted her.
It’s understood that police managed to apprehend the men in the hotel where the alleged gang-rape occurred.
The Irish woman is said to be very shaken, distraught but recovering. It’s understood that she told police she believed the men were going to kill her once they’d finished raping her.
