A three year old boy was sadly killed after he was snatched by a leopard at a safari park in Uganda.
The terrifying and heartbreaking occurred when the young infant who was staying at a lodge close to the park was carried away by the deadly animal which was lurking nearby.
It is believed the infant was taken by the animal last Friday after he followed his father who is a ranger at the Queen Elizabeth National Park outside.
Without his father nor the house maid knowing that infant had followed him outside, the innocent three year old was dragged into the bush before the deadly animal mauled him to death and ate his flesh.
The young boy’s remains were sadly found the next morning after a large scale search was carried out in order to find him.
Speaking about the incident, a spokesperson for the park told AFP: “The maid was not aware the child followed her.”
“She heard the kid scream for help, she intervened but it was too late the leopard had vanished with it in the bush and a search was mounted until we got the skull the next day.
“The hunt is on with the intention of capturing the leopard and removing it from the wild because once it has eaten human flesh, the temptations are high to eat another human being, it becomes dangerous.”
