The Chief Executive of the HSE Paul Reid has said that the cost of the cyber attack on its IT system may cost more than €100m.
Speaking at briefing, Reid said that costs will be quite significant in terms of getting the system back up and running.
The HSE Chief also said there would be future costs in terms of the impact on services.
He added that costs will also be incurred in terms of repairing the health services networks and laptops.
