In an exciting development for local tourism, a giant Game of Thrones studio tour has opened in Banbridge, County Down.
According to RTE, €48 million has been put into the tour which contains several original sets from the TV series, as well as original costumes, props and weapons.
Based in the Linen Mill Studios in Banbridge where parts of the series were filmed, the tour is said to be the only one of its kind in the world. Fans of the show will be able to use interactive displays to see how good they are at using weapons that were used during filming.
The series, based on the fantasy books of George R.R. Martin, has amassed fans from all over the world and it is expected that this tour will be hugely popular, drawing people to take part in this original and interesting tour.
