Hundreds gather to protest against migrant plantation in Dublin’s East Wall with more rallies planned

Hundreds of people gathered on Saturday outside old ESB building in East Wall, Dublin to protest against the government’s latest migrant plantation.

The building is being used to house a large number of male asylum seekers and locals were expressing their anger that they had not been consulted before hand.

A video captured by a local woman earlier in the week showed a bus load of young, single men arriving in East Wall.

Social media users were quick to point out that the men in the now viral video appear to be wearing expensive clothes and do not appear to be Ukranian.

Across the country, communities are rallying to oppose the government migrant plantation agenda which is seeing tens of thousands of Ukrainians and thousands of migrants from other countries settled in towns and villages, straining public services and diverting resources from struggling Irish people.

More protests are planned at the old ESB building in East Wall with speaker Malachy Steenson calling for a larger rally on Monday, November 21st at 5PM.
