Hundreds of thousands of people gathered at rallies across the US today to call for tighter gun controls.
The gatherings, dubbed March for Our Lives, was organized by survivors of the last school massacre in Florida last month where 17 people were gunned down by an ex-high school pupil.
People are asking for a complete ban on high-power automatic weapons and also to close any existing loopholes affecting background checks.
