Hungarian government has had heating oil, petrol and diesel prices capped since November 2021

Hungarian government has had heating oil, petrol and diesel prices capped since November 2021.
A price cap on petrol and diesel prices was put in place by the Hungarian government in November 2021. The anti-inflation and anti-poverty measure will be up for review on May 15.

The Hungarian government introduced it to cushion the impact of high inflation. The maximum wholesale gross selling price that can be applied by suppliers is now also HUF 480 (EUR 1.3) per litre, as is the retail price applied by gas stations. No other costs or fees may be charged, reports Hungary Today.
