Hurricane Ian has knocked out power for around 11m people in Cuba, with the weather system now heading for the Florida peninsula.
Ian has been upgraded to a Category 3 storm, and is expected to make landfall in Florida over the coming hours.
The weather system carries winds of up to 125km/h, which are likely to cause widespread damage.
