The couple, both in their late 40s, were found with fatal stabbing injuries in a house in Cobh this afternoon.
Their teenage daughter, who is believed to have raised the alarm, also sustained serious injuries during the incident and is critically ill in hospital.
The house in O’Neill’s Place, Carrigafoy in Cobh, Co Cork, remains sealed off.
