A Hyperloop project currently under consideration could see passengers reach Amsterdam from the French capital in just 90 mins. It takes about double that time travelling by train today.
A Hyperloop is a theoretical method of transportation involving pod-like vehicles travelling inside a pressurized steel-tube at speeds of over 600mph.
Technology is not quite there to achieve this feat in a safe and cost-effective manner, but many believe Hyperloop networks will become as ubiquitous as train routes in the distant future.
