
GardaĆ in Co Louth have seized an e-scooter from an 8-yr-old boy.
In a social media post, officers from the Dundalk Roads Policing Unit said they were on patrol yesterday when they saw the child riding the e-scooter at speeds of up to 30km/h, reports RTE.
The scooter was confiscated, and gardaĆ have spoken to the boyās parents about the incident, reports RTE.
They reminded the public that e-scooters that meet regulations should only be used by individuals aged over 16, reports RTE.
