The Irish Aviation Authority have confirmed that there has been temporary ban imposed to those who fly drones over the Chapelizod site in Dublin.
The temporary ban comes as gardaí are continuing a search in the area as part of their investigation into the disappearance of Trevor Deely who went missing almost 17 years ago.
Reports say the ban was implemented after the Department of Justice made a request to the Minister for Transport calling for flight restrictions to be implemented for security reasons.
It is understood the flight restriction applies to all unofficial aircraft including model planes and drones and it will remain in place until the end of the month.
