Ibrahim Halawa’s trial on his involvement in the Muslim brotherhood protests has been postponed again




Ibrahim Halawa has seen his detention extended again as his trial has been postponed.

Last month Halawa asked the Taoiseach Enda Kenny to help free him from his prison in Cairo.

21-yr-old Halawa was detained during Muslim Brotherhood protests in Cairo in 2013.

He was one of 400 people who were accused of conspiracy for murder. His trial has been postponed until May 17th.
