An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast damaged two cars in a residential area of Dunlavin, Co Wicklow, earlier on today.
The bomb squad was called in and the area was sealed off. After carrying out a thorough search, the scene was declared safe for Gardai to begin their technical examination.
The bomb squad left the area at around 7am. Investigations are ongoing.
