If you’re afraid of insects, then you might want to look away now.
Weather maps in the UK have allegedly picked up images of huge clouds of flying ants in mobs so big that they could actually be seen from space satellites. They allegedly arrive in a period of very hot heavy weather which follows days that are wet and rainy.
They’re known as flying ants and don’t usually harm humans, even though they might frighten some people who could find themselves in the middle of a shower of falling ants rather than falling rain.
