“I’m going to move bank” – Customers say they’re going to leave AIB as they make another 70 branches completely cashless




It’s been touted as a major push to make society totally cashless, but AIB says it’s changing its way of banking to get in line with how people bank themselves these days.

Some customers of the bank say that they’re going to leave and move to another bank as a result.

AIB, one of the biggest banks in the country is to make a further 70 of its branches cashless, much to the dismay of its customers.

It’s understood that there’s already 22 branches are are cashless out of a total of 170 banks.

Many people on social media are claiming that the move is pushing a cashless society on people regardless of whether they want it or not.

The bank however says that it’s moving towards people’s usage of online banking transactions.
