Hundreds of people have took to the streets of Drogheda to voice their disapproval at the Government over a lack of Garda resources in the town.
It is understood the protests come as tensions have risen in the town after series of incidents relating to an ongoing gang feud in the area.
The protests which were held in the town centre this afternoon, called on the Government and the Minister for Justice Charlie Flanagan to address Garda shortages in the town.
It is believed that in the region of 500 people held a protest on West Street this afternoon.
