Storm Eva is on a direct collision course with the country, stirring up winds of up to
110km/h, with gusts topping 120km/h at times.
A Status Orange wind warning has been issued for Donegal, Galway, Mayo, Sligo and Clare at midday today.
Also, a Status Yellow wind warning has been issued for Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan, Leitrim, Roscommon, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford, with expected winds of 60-65km/h gusting 100-110km/h.
A third warning, a Status Yellow weather advisory for Donegal, Galway, Mayo and Clare, was also issued today.
Eva will make landfall towards Wednesday evening, so brace for impact.
All warnings will remain in effect valid until midnight on Wednesday, December 23.
